Hello Year 2 Beech class!

Who's who in Beech class?

Our class teacher: Miss Anderson

Our Teaching Assistants: Mrs Hadley and Mrs Vann Morris

Our PPA cover: Miss Layton (on Friday afternoons)

Our PE days are Tuesday and Thursday. Please make sure your child has a full NAMED kit in school. Please also ensure your child has trainers as these are better for both sessions outside and in the hall.

Reading books - please encourage your child to put their reading record and completed book in the box in the classroom every time their book needs changing. This will then be done and their record updated. Bug club books are also available online- your child now has the correct colour books on their profile.

Library- our library day is Friday. If your child wants to change their book please ask them to hand it in on Friday morning!

Topic: Our topic this term is "Movers and Shakers"- for further details on what we are learning about please see the newsletter. This was emailed at the start of term but we have also attached a copy below.

Bug Club Phonics

For the books to be transferred into the library, please click on the bug at the start of the book first before reading the book. When your child has finished, please click on the bug at the end of the book and then the book will be transferred to the library.
