This event will take place on 11/02/2026
We have booked 'Learn to Build' to visit Year One in the morning and do a workshop that explores our topic this term of ‘Bright Lights, Big City’. Through interactive storytelling and hands-on LEGO building challenges, children will explore London’s iconic landmarks, learn about different modes of transport and develop their geography skills in a fun, practical way; a great way to enhance and consolidate learning from this term!
In order to run this workshop, we are asking for parents to make a voluntary contribution of £7.23. We fully appreciate that families may be struggling with the cost of living, so the payment for this workshop can be made in instalments. If you are struggling financially, and especially if you are eligible for benefits related free school meals, please contact myself or Mrs Turner so that we can support you with this.
We would be grateful if you can make this contribution by your ParentPay account. If using ParentPay causes you a problem, contributions can be paid in cash (correct money) or by cheque (made payable to Buckinghamshire Council) and handed into the school office.
