Spring Term 2019

Happy New Year! We're all looking forward to welcoming the children back to school for 2019!

This half term our focus is on toys! We have some brilliant topic lessons lined up learning about the origins of different toys and how they were made.

On the 14th January we have a toy workshop coming in. This is a fantastic day for the children to enjoy and learn about the creation of different toys.

In science we are going to be learning about materials and the different properties they have. We might even discover what we can use to keep our toys dry and warm!

In Literacy we will be discovering how to create a recount (about our Christmas holidays!) and then we will be learning about information texts. After that we will be discovering pattern and rhyme.

In Maths we are focusing on addition and subtraction.

We hope this half term is a brilliant one!

Any questions just jot a note in your child's contact book or just let me know
